Waiting Well Lk 2:22-32

Lk 2:22-32
1. We must learn to wait well. Waiting is tough. Lk 2:25-26 Simeon had to wait for a long time before the promise to see the Messiah was fulfilled, but he was righteous and devout while waiting. Waiting becomes easier when we are leaning into the promises of God. We have to know the promises of God, they need to be written on our hearts. Rom 8:28, Mt 6:23, seek God first. Wait expectantly every day for God.
2. We must learn to be led by the Holy Spirit. Lk 2:27, Simeon was moved by the Holy Spirit. Eph 1:23-14, Jn 14:26, Eph 5:18, continue to be filled with the Holy Spirit, over and over again.
3. We must learn to be fully satisfied in Christ and not our circumstances. Lk 2:27-32. Phil 4:11. We can be complete and full of joy knowing we have salvation. All of the fullness of joy started with the birth of Jesus.
